By participating in an Academy Foundation event at FNCE®, you help to make a positive impact on thousands of Academy students’ and members’ lives. The Foundation is funded solely by the generosity of donors and does not receive any portion of member dues.

Be sure to sign up for these Foundation events when registering for FNCE® or, if you’ve already registered for FNCE®, you can add them by logging into your FNCE® registration dashboard and selecting the event(s) you would like to add.

Pre-FNCE Workshop: Telling the Story so it Matters: Why and How to Communicate and Disseminate Nutrition Science

Supported through a partnership of the International Food Information Council and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation

In this interactive session, attendees will engage with each other and with the presenters to learn effective communication and dissemination methods. Attendees will engage in small group discussion case studies, practice crafting science-based messages, and determining methods for communicating and disseminating nutrition science in their own practice areas. Foundation Symposia: Expanding Approaches to Transform Women’s Wellness: The Integration of Medicine and Nutrition

Sponsored by the National Dairy Council

In this presentation, the latest state of the science on wellness topics top of mind for women along with expert tips and sensible application will be co-presented by an insightful duo of women’s health champions — an RDN and an OBGYN, along with lively interaction with attendees. Participants will leave the session with the knowledge and tools to contribute meaningfully to advancing women’s wellness, personally and in a variety of practice settings, using evidence-based and food-first approaches. Foundation Anytime 5K – Any pace, any day, any way you like!

Do it solo or grab a group of friends and get moving to complete the Foundation Anytime 5K during the week of FNCE®. This is a great opportunity to get moving — and support the Foundation while you’re at it! Complete a 5K (3.1 miles) during FNCE® by running, walking, rollerblading or get moving with any activity you like. 

The cost to register for the Foundation Anytime 5K is $35 and $20 for students. Registration includes a 2025 Foundation 5K t-shirt to add to your collection that can be picked up at the Foundation booth within the Music City Convention Center.

Academy Foundation Make It a Million Scholarship Campaign

The Academy Foundation Make It a Million Scholarship Campaign is an effort to raise $1M by the end of 2025 to award $1M in scholarships and help to build the next generation of food and nutrition professionals. We are now at 97% of our goal and gifts of any size will help get us across the finish line.
